Hamdeen Abdel-Ati Abdel-Maqsoud Sabahy, known as Hamdeen Sabahy, is an Egyptian politician and parliamentarian. He is the former head of the Al-Karama Party, editor-in-chief of Al-Karama newspaper, a former member of parliament, and was a candidate for the Egyptian presidency in 2012 and 2014. He has a history of defending Egyptian rights, social justice, and national causes, and is known for his Nasserist leanings.
